The Deacons have learned of a meal service that delivers meals to seniors in the community.

 

The Deacons have learned of a meal service that delivers hot and healthy meals prepared fresh every morning to seniors in the community. Meals of Joy is a non-profit Charitable Organization by the State of Arizona.

 

The meals are packaged to eat immediately with no preparation needed. There is no start up fees, contracts, minimum or maximum orders, and no cancellation fees. The meals start at $7.50 for a regular size, and $10.00 for a hearty meal. Meals are available as diabetic friendly and for gluten free. A Standard Meal consists of a hot entrée, salad, vegetable, and a cold accompaniment of salad and fresh fruit, as well as a special treat for dessert. All meals are delivered between 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Monday-Friday and must be ordered at least 2 days in advance.
