Additional Supported Missions

For special requested projects and needs PCCC supports the following missions:

Haiti -- EFCCC Rev. Wilbins

We provided funds to help build church building for the congregation.   Also supported a new work in a second congregation across the island.  Occasionally provide for living expenses for family.

Wilbins is a native Haitian who has answered the call of God to establish churches on the island.  He, his wife, and family have pastored a church in Haiti since 2014 with an average attendance of approximately 150 people.  He has faced threats for teaching the Gospel and constantly has to battle the very real powers of darkness. His church is about 45 minutes from his home which takes 1.5-2 hours to reach due to road conditions.  He was asked by another group of people quite a distance away from his church to come and establish another church approximately one hour further down the island.  The churches Rev. Wilbins established are essentially non-denominational due to the lack of churches in the area.  Rev. Wilbins has seen many come to Christ out of the voodoo culture, including children of two voodoo masters.

Parents have to pay for their children to go to school in Haiti, so this is a constant struggle financially.  Also, due to shortages, food is often scarce, and gasoline can cost $25 a gallon.  Yet Rev. Wilbins and his family are committed to seeing Christ presented in some of the island's darkest places.  Please pray for Rev. Wilbins and his family as they continue to present the Gospel to the fellow Haitians.
